What is Non Slip 21?

Non Slip 21 is a truly unique anti-slip treatment that has been developed by Science Friction.

Non Slip 21 is a non-acid based floor treatment, which increases wet and dry grip levels on most floors. These new grip levels well exceed the guidelines of the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), the Health and Safety Authority (HSA), the UK Slip Resistance Group and other associated bodies.

The Science Friction team professionally applies the Non Slip 21 floor treatment and its performance is guaranteed for 5 years providing a suitable cleaning programme is in place. Science Friction will also test the slip resistance value (SRV) at regular intervals using the approved testing methods and equipment to ensure compliance with current recommendations.

Non Slip 21 is odorless and non-toxic. When applied it is invisible and will not alter the appearance of floors. It is not a culture medium, thereby preventing the growth of bacteria, which is an important consideration when being used in hospitals, kitchens and laboratories.
